James A. Perkins, Esq.

James A. Perkins focuses his practice in the areas of Agricultural Law, Civil Practice, Environmental Law, Construction Law, Labor and Employment, Insurance, Civil Trial, and Appellate Litigation.

A native of Whittier, California, Jim is a graduate of Occidental College and received his law degree cum laude from the Southwestern University School of Law in 1978. He was admitted to the bar in California in 1978 and is admitted to practice in Washington and before the United States Supreme Court.

He served as a member of the Washington State Court Congestion and Delay Committee from 1988 to 1990 and the Washington State Judicial Recommendations Committee from 1991 to 1994. He is also an instructor for the Washington State Bar Skills Training for Young Lawyers. Jim is a member of the State Bar of California, the Yakima County, Washington State and American Bar Associations and the Washington State Defense Trial Lawyers Association.
